Can the US Allow Illegal Aliens at the Rate of Half a Million per Quarter

What happens if the illegal alien stream continues at the same alarming rates as they are today? Can the United States economy handle this? Should the US completely close the borders from every location other than certified checkpoints? Could we eventually have an Open Border policy in 50-75 years or maybe sooner?.Some of these questions were recently raised in an online think tank and one member asked; "What will we do when half the population of Mexico comes here and our country becomes entirely overpopulated?".On the 50-75 year Open Border goal plan that would not be an issue, this is a long-term plan, which would be implemented later. And with 25 Million people living on top of a Volcano in Mexico City, all they need is one major Earthquake like in 1985 or a Volcano there and they would all come here with the city destroyed and be lined up at our borders, it would be a serious issue.

Our online think tank member next asks;."Are WE gonna flee to Mexico? This is obviously a problem that we have been dealing with since the beginning of our country and Nothing has changed. Its still the same debate, over and over.".This is why we need a long-term and a short-term plan you see, I agree although am also watching Americans bring capital to Mexico and moving there to live, but with corruption, the Mexicans might simply take back all that property anytime they feel like it too.

Perhaps we should be addressing both a short-term and long-term strategy? Consider all this in 2006.
